Data Protection

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we process your
data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO [GDPR], TKG [Telecommunications Act] 2003). In
this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of
data processing within the context of our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, your data will be stored for six months in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Data storage

We would like to point out that the VEF stores the order data for the purpose of simplifying the ordering process and for processing the contract at a later date.
The data provided by you is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. No data will be transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of travel data to Wiener Linien, whose network we use to fulfil the contract.
In the event of concluding a contract, all data from the contractual relationship are stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 (1) letter a (Consent) and/or letter b (necessary for fulfilment of the contract) of the DSGVO.

Evaluation of usage data

When you visit our websites, we evaluate so-called usage data anonymously for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our websites and protect us against attacks. The legal basis is Art . 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
The data collected is:

  • Name and address of the requested content,
  • Date and time of query,
  • Page title of the opened website
  • URL of the opened website
  • Previous URL ( Referrer URL)
  • Screen resolution
  • User’s local time
  • Clicks on download links
  • Clicks on external links
  • amount of data transferred,
  • Access status (content transferred, content not found),
  • Description of the web browser and operating system used,
  • Duration of the request (time from server to user)
  • IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened so that a personal reference can no longer be established
  • approximate geodata based on this.

No cookies are set and there is no merging with other data. Storage and processing takes place exclusively in the EU. This processing of visitor data is completely anonymized, so that no conclusions can be drawn about a natural person.

Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection regarding your data stored with us.
